Details
I'm Jackie and live on the
Lansdowne Park estate in Calne. I am married to Jim with
three daughters aged 16, 23 and 25 and also have a King Charles
Spaniel dog who is very child-friendly. I was previously
a childminder in Devizes before moving to Calne with over fifteen
years experience of looking after children.
The whole of my house is registered
and children are able to play with a wide range of toys both
in my dining area and lounge. I rotate toys to ensure
interest is kept. I have travel cots and beds available
for children to sleep in upstairs with stair gates to provide
safety. I have a fully enclosed back garden with high
gate and a range of outdoor toys.
I work closely with other childminders
in the group to provide more social interaction for the children.
Typical Activities
A typical week with me includes:
Monday - soft play centre;
Tuesday - meet up with colleagues and the children in their
care for social activities and craft;
Wednesday - at home or out and about in the community (eg. garden
centres, parks etc.);
Thursday - Tots and Dots toddler group;
Friday - Little Acorns.
Training and Experience

Contractual Details
I charge £3.20 per hour and work
from 8am to 6pm including school holidays. There is no
charge for my own holiday periods. Snacks and drinks are
included in the hourly rate. Packed lunches and/or evening
meals are to be provided by parents.

during the week as well as for before and/or after-school care
at Fynamore School and St. Edmunds.
